Welcome to the Foundation for Free Culture and Software ("Föreningen fri kultur och programvara"). Most of our information is unfortunately only available in Swedish, though we make attempts at creating English translations where needed. Please do get in touch with us if you require any further information in English other than which is available already. The foundation exists to "spread awareness about free culture and free software, as well as support organisations, individuals and projects with the same goals." We're organised around our many activities, which are run by the members of the foundation. Our board of directors consist (as of 2009) of Dr. Mathias Klang, Marcus Rejås and Henrik Sandklef. Our executive director is Jonas Öberg, and you can reach us with email to info@ffkp.se. Some of the work we've done in the past include the FSCONS conference, a book on OpenOffice.org in Swedish, some workshops on Free Software with universities and political parties, a Swedish text on GPLv3 and now latest a contest where we give 1000 EUR to the two best ideas which demonstrate how people with little resources can still contribute significantly to free software and free culture.
